Hi,

It looks like the smoke test is going well. I was waiting till we had 70% of those backers responding, and we've just reached that with only a single issue that has now been resolved.

I'll hit the button at noon here in the UK for the rest of the surveys to be sent.

Keep an eye on your inbox!

BackerKit Surveys are about to be send out!
over 3 years ago – Wed, Jan 06, 2021 at 02:56:20 AM

Hi,

Happy New Year! Hope you're safe and well.

I'm about to send the smoke test out for the BackerKit surveys. What does that mean? We're going to send out surveys to a random 5% of backers to make sure the BackerKit setup is clear and there are no big mistakes.

If you get an invite to complete  the survey, I'd really appreciate if you could fill them in as soon as possible.

A few things about BackerKit:

  • there are a lot of add-ons, many with money off the retail price, so take a look at what's available
  • if you have backed for a physical reward, you need to pay for shipping in BackerKit - this should all be worked out for you
  • Shipping prices are for the following services: UK - 2nd Class, Europe - Standard, US - Economy, Rest of the World - Economy.
  • There are add-ons for UK Tracked/Signed and EU Tracked/Signed.
  • If anyone in the US or Rest of the World is looking for Tracked postage, please contact me via Kickstarter and I'll send you the additional cost. Please bear in mind it will almost certainly more than double to postage cost to these regions. Also, I rarely have encountered issues with postage.

I think that's it! I'll get back in touch when I'm about to send the other 95% of surveys out.

If you missed out on the Kickstarter campaign, we will be having the BackerKit pledge manager store open early in 2021!

Also, we currently have a sale of graphic novels on at our website!

To celebrate the end of this year that must not be named, we thought we'd reduce the price of all of our physical graphic novels! Head on over to BlueFoxComics.com and grab yourself a bargain - but hurry, the sale ends on the stroke of midnight, December 31st!

Stay safe and speak soon,

Simon

A Look to the Future
over 3 years ago – Fri, Nov 20, 2020 at 01:08:29 AM

Hi,

Hope you're all well.

I wanted to give you a quick rundown of what's coming up in The Shadow Over Innsmouth.

I have written the second short story adaptation which will be included with Part Two of the story - this will involve a certain confession and a swampy cemetery.

Part Three will be a larger part of the story, so is unlikely to contain another short, but you never know...

What the part three Kickstarter will have available will be a slipcase that you can house all three books neatly in one case. It would make a very fancy edition for any collection!

For Part Two and Part Three, I'll also have a better understanding about postage, and will add some stretch goals - for the current Kickstarter I'm being over-cautious and not adding in any stretch goals - this is due to tipping the postage onto the next highest level.

When we collect the tale together, we won't be publishing it with the short stories, so this is the only time these books will be available in this format!

Speaking of that, I am currently adapting a longer story which will act as the main story for the collection of smaller tales. This will entail a certain thing on a doorstep!

So, I hope that might give you some information for the future, and hopefully get you excited for everything to come!

I would love to hear your comments. Please add them below!
